गोदावरीमा सरसफाई कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न भएको छ । तामाङ्ग समाज कल्याणकारी गुठी र गोदावरी नगरपालिका वडा नं. ३ को संयुक्त आयोजनामा गत १० गते गोदावरी वसपार्कदेखि नौ धारा मन्दिरसम्मको सरसफाई कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न भएको हो । उक्त सरसफाई कार्यत्रममा गोदावरी नगरपालिका स्थानिय बासिन्दासहित नगरपालिकाका विभिन्न प्रतिनिधिहरुसमेत उपस्थित रहेका थिए ।

‘हाम्रो गोदावरी, राम्रो गोदावरी’ लक्ष्य लिएर उक्त कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन गरेको गोदावरी नगरपालिकाका वडा नं. ३ का अध्यक्ष बालमुकुन्द घिमिरेले बताएका थिए । केही समयदेखी यस नगरका धार्मिक तथा पर्यटकीय क्षेत्र नै जोखिम रहेकोले गर्दा यसको सरसफाई गर्न आवश्यक रहेको बताउँदै उनले भने, ‘हामी यस क्षेत्रको वातावरणलाई सफाई गर्नको लागि महिनाको एक पटक सरसफाई कार्यक्रम आयोजना गर्नेछौ । कार्यक्रममा सहभागीहरुको नाम सहित फोटोहरु सामाजिक सञ्जालमा पनि राख्नेछौ ।’

उनले सरसफाई कार्यक्रममा सहभागी हुनको लागि सबै स्थानीय बासिन्दाहरुलाई अनुरोध गरेका थिए । कार्यक्रमलाई नमुना खेलकुद क्लब गोदावरी र नौ धारा सामुदायिक वनको सहयोग रहेको थियो ।
