एजेन्सी । बेलायतस्थित अक्सफोर्ड युनिभर्सिटीका शोधकर्ताहरुले कोभिड-१९ को उपचारका लागि बनाइएको भ्याक्सिन ६ बाँदरमा परीक्षण गरेका छन् । परीक्षणको परिणाम सकरात्मक आएको छ । यो भ्याक्सिन मानिसमाथि पनि परीक्षण गरिँदैछ । करिब एक हजार स्वयम्सेवकले क्लिनिकल परीक्षणमा सहभागिता जनाएका छन् ।

‘सीएचएडीओक्स १ एनसीओवी-१९’ नामको यो भ्याक्सिनको परीक्षण मकाउका ६ बाँदरमा परीक्षण गरिएको हो । यो परीक्षणबाट भ्याक्सिनले मानिसमा कस्तो प्रभाव पार्छ भन्ने थाहा भएको अनुसन्धानकर्ताले पत्ता लगाएका छन् । किनकी बाँदरको र मानिसको प्रतिरोधात्मक प्रणाली उस्तै हुन्छ । तर, मानिसमा पनि सकरात्मक परिणाम नै आउँछ भन्ने कुनै ग्यारेन्टी भने छैन ।
शोधकर्ताहरुका अनुसार कोभिड-१९ बाट संक्रमित बाँदरलाई दुई समूहमा बाँडिएको थियो । यसक्रममा जसलाई औषधि चलाइयो, उनीहरुको अवस्था उपचार नगरेका बाँदरभन्दा राम्रो भयो । उनीहरुमा १४ दिनभित्र एन्टिबडी बन्न थाल्यो । यसबाट यो पत्ता लाग्यो कि उक्त भ्याक्सिनको असर बिरामी बाँदरमा सकरात्मक देखियो ।

अमेरिकामा पनि गरियो परीक्षण
 बीबीसीका अनुसार अमेरिकी सरकारले नेशनल इन्स्टिच्यूट अफ हेल्ठ्ठ (एनआईएच) र अक्सफोर्ड युनिभर्सिटीले अमेरिकामा यो परीक्षण गरेको थियो । यो भ्याक्सिनलाई अक्सफोर्ड भ्याक्सिन ग्रुप र अक्सफोर्डको जेनर इन्स्टिच्यूटका शोधकर्ताहरुले बताएका हुन् ।

मानिसमाथि पनि परीक्षण जारी छ
अक्सफोर्ड युनिभर्सिटीका शोधकर्ताहरुले मानिस माथि पनि उक्त भ्याक्सिनको परीक्षण सुरु गरेका छन् । यो परीक्षण तीन चरणमा हुन्छ । पहिलो चरणको परिणाम सकरात्मक भेटिएमा दोस्रो चरणको परीक्षण सुरु हुन्छ । संसारभरमा अहिले १०० भन्दा बढी भ्याक्सिनमाथि अनुसन्धान भइरहेको छ ।
