संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिकाले अनलाइन शिक्षामार्फत अध्ययन गरिरहेका अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीलाई फिर्ता पठाउने निर्णय रद्द गरेको छ ।

सरकारकाको विद्यार्थी फिर्ता पठाउने योजना विरुद्ध म्यासाचुसेट्स इन्स्टिच्युट अफ टेक्नोलोजी र हार्वर्ड युनिभर्सिटी अदालत गएकोमा म्यासाचुसेट्सका डिस्ट्रिक्ट जज एलिसन बरोले सबै पक्षबीच सम्झौता भएपश्चात् सो निर्णय रद्द गरिएको हो ।

अदालति सुनुवाइका क्रममा न्यायधिस बरोले सरकारको निर्णय परिवर्तनपश्चात् कारवाहीलाई तुरुन्त रोक्ने विषयमा सहमति दिइएको जनाइएको छ । उक्त निर्णयपश्चात् अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थी अनलाइन कक्षा लिँदै गर्दा पनि वैधानिक विद्यार्थीको रुपमा विद्यार्थी भिसामा अमेरिकामा बस्न पाउँनेछन् ।

गत हप्ता अमेरिकी प्रशासनले विदेशी विद्यार्थीको पाठ्यक्रमको सबै कक्षा अनलाइनबाट सञ्चालित भइरहेका सबैलाई अमेरिकाबाट फिर्ता पठाइने घोषणा गरिएको थियो । जसबाट हजारौं नेपाली विद्यार्थीसमेत प्रभावित हुने देखिएकोमा यो निर्णयश्चात् उनीहरुलाई त्यही बसेर अनलाइन शिक्षामार्फत् पढाइमा निरन्तरता दिन पाउँने भएका हुन् ।
