    नवलपरासी पूर्वको गैंडाकोट नगरपालिका भित्रका विद्यालयमा गरिएको अध्ययनले छात्रामा सिकाइ उपलब्धि बढी भएको पाइएको छ । नगर शिक्षा शाखाले गरेको अध्ययनमा छात्रमा भन्दा छात्रामा सिकाइ उपलब्धि बढी भएको पाइएको हो ।

    शिक्षा शाखा प्रमुख उपसचिव बालकृष्ण चापागाईंका अनुसार नगरभित्रका कक्षा ५ मा अध्ययन गर्ने ११ सामुदायिक र सात संस्थागत विद्यालयका ५१६ छात्रछात्रालाई नमूना सर्वेक्षणका लागि लिइएको थियो ।

    नगरका ३० सामुदायिक र १६ संस्थागत विद्यालयमा १ हजार ५३४ विद्यार्थी छन् । गणित र विज्ञान विषयको सिकाइ उपलब्धिका बारेमा सर्वेक्षणमा सामुदायिक विद्यालयमा भन्दा संस्थागत विद्यालयमा अध्ययन गर्ने विद्यार्थीको नतिजा राम्रो देखिएको चापागाईले बताए ।

    अध्ययनका क्रममा गणितमा ३९.७ प्रतिशत र विज्ञान विषयमा ४५.१७ प्रतिशत सिकाइ उपलब्धि हासिल भएको चापागाईले बताए । प्राप्त सिकाइ उपलब्धिमा सामुदायिकतर्फ गणित विषयमा ३५.७ प्रतिशत तथा संस्थागततर्फ ४३.२ प्रतिशत पाइएको छ ।

    विज्ञान विषयमा सामुदायिकतर्फका विद्यार्थीको सिकाइ उपलब्धि ३४.८ प्रतिशत रहँदा संस्थागततर्फ ५४.४५ प्रतिशत सिकाइ उपलब्धी हासिल भएको शाखा प्रमुख उपसचिव चापागाईले बताए ।

    गैंडाकोट नगरपालिकाको शैक्षिक गुणस्तर वृद्धि गर्ने उद्देश्यसहित शिक्षा युवा तथा खेलकूद शाखाको आयोजनामा भएको सार्वजनिक शिक्षा सवलीकरण कार्यशालामा वडाध्यक्ष सामुदायिक विद्यालयको नजिता सुधारका लागि लाग्नुपर्नेमा जोड दिइएको छ । नगर प्रमुख छत्रराज पौडेलले वडाध्यक्षलाई नै सामुदायिक विद्यालयको व्यवस्थापन समितिको अध्यक्ष बनाउने गरी शिक्षा विधेयक पास भएको भन्दै सामुदायिक विद्यालयको गुणस्तर वृद्धिमा काम गर्न आग्रह गरे ।

    छलफलका क्रममा गैंडाकोट–५ का वडाध्यक्ष नवराज कँडेलले वडाका सामुदायिक विद्यालयबाट प्रदान गरिने शिक्षालाई थप गुणस्तरीय बनाउनका लागि विद्यालयमा राम्रो विद्यार्थी उत्तीर्ण हुने विषय शिक्षकलाई प्रोत्साहन गर्न सम्मान तथा पुरस्कारको व्यवस्था गर्ने बताए । पछिल्लो समय लामो समयको बन्दाबन्दीका कारण विद्यार्थीको पढाइमा नै प्रभाव परेकाले यसतर्फ अभिभावकले ध्यान दिनुपर्ने पूर्व जिल्ला शिक्षा अधिकारी खड्ग कमालले बताए ।
