स्थानीय तहको निर्वाचन २०७९ मा ललितपुरमा नेकपा एमालेको तर्फबाट बागमती गाउँपालिकाको अध्यक्षको सर्वसम्मत उम्मेदवारको रुपमा रहनुभएको छ, नवराज सञ्जेल । यसअघि २०७४ सालको निर्वाचनमा बागमती गाउँपालिका ७ गिम्दीको अध्यक्षमा निर्वाचित हुनुभएका सञ्जेलको गहन सोच र कार्यान्वयनले उहाँलाई अध्यक्षको उम्मेदवारको रुपमा प्रस्तुत गरेको स्थानीयबासीहरु बताउँछन् ।

अध्यक्ष पदका उम्मेदवार नवराज संजेलको जन्म २०४१ साल बैसाख २७ ललितपुरको गिम्दीमा भएको हो । आफुलाई शिक्षाकर्मी, राजनीतिककर्मी र समाजसेवीको भूमिकामा सक्रिय बनाउनुभएका संजेलले समाजशास्त्रमा स्नातक, अंग्रेजीमा स्नानकोत्तर तथा शैक्षिक नेतृत्व विषयमा काठमाडौं विश्वविद्यालयबाट एमफिल गर्नुभएको छ ।

अध्यक्षका उम्मेदवार नवराज संजेल भन्नुहुन्छ, “मेरो राजनीतिक यात्रा २०५२ सालमा नेकपा एमालेको विद्यार्थी संगठन अनेरास्ववियुबाट शुरु भएको हो । मैले अनेरास्ववियूको प्रारम्भिक कमिटीदेखी विभिन्न भूमिका निर्वाह गरेको छु । त्यसपश्चात् राष्ट्रिय युवा संघमा आवद्ध हुँदै २०७० सालमा युवा संघको केन्द्रिय कमिटीअन्तर्गत सामाजिक परिचालन बिभागको सदस्यको जिम्मेवारी बहन गर्ने मौका पाएँ ।”

२०६० सालमा विधिवत रुपमा पार्टी राजनीतिमा सक्रिय हुनुभएका संजेल २०७१ सालमा नेकपा एमालेको ललितपुरको प्रचार विभाग सदस्य, २०७२ सालमा एमालेको गिम्दी शाखा कमिटीको अध्यक्ष हुँदै २०७७ सालमा ललितपुर जिल्ला कमिटी सदस्य हुनुभयो । संजेल २०७८ सालमा सम्पन्न नेकपा एमालेको पालिका अधिवेशनबाट बागमती गाउँपालिकाको पार्टी अध्यक्षमा निर्वाचित हुनुभएको थियो ।

ललितपुरको दक्षिणको भेगको समन्वयका लागि गठित दक्षिण ललितपुर सम्पर्क कमिटीको सचिवको भूमिका निर्वाह गरको अनुभव नवराज सञ्जेलसँग छ ।

संजेलले गत स्थानीय तहको निर्वाचन २०७४ मा वडा अध्यक्षमा निर्वाचित हुँदै आशन्न स्थानीय तहको निर्वाचनका अध्यक्षमा बलियो दाबेदारी प्रस्तुत गर्नुभएको छ ।
