ललितपुर महानगरपालिका वडा नं १३ कुसुन्तीमा अवस्थित माछापुच्छ्रे स्कुलले इन्टरनेशनल व्याकारलेरियट (आइबी) वल्ड स्कुलको मान्यता पाएको छ । विद्यालयले बिहिबार एक पत्रकार सम्मेलन आयोजना गरी आइबी वल्ड स्कुलको मान्यता पाएको जानकारी दिएको हो ।
केही दिन अघि मात्रै आफूहरुले सो मान्यता पाएसँगै बालबालिकाको सिकाइ क्षमता र सिक्ने स्वभावको पहिचान गरी सोहि अनुरुप अन्तरराष्ट्रिय स्तरको शिक्षा प्रदान गराउने भएको विद्यालयका अध्यक्ष डा. विनोद यादवले बताउनुभयो ।
यादवले भन्नुभयो, “यस कार्यक्रम मार्फत हामीले प्रयोगात्मक शिक्षालाई व्यवहारमा उतारी सामाजिक परिवर्तनको सम्बाहक बनाउने लक्ष्य लिएकाछौं ।” विद्यालयमा बालबालिकाको उमेर सुहाउँदो वालमैत्री संरचना निर्माण गरी उक्त कार्यक्रम अघि बढाइने भएको डा. यादवले जानकारी गराउनुभयो । यादवका अनुसार आइबी शैलीको शैक्षिक प्रणालीले विद्यार्थीमा प्रगतिशील दृष्टिकोणको विकास गरी उनीहरुको सहभागितमा ज्ञान निर्माण गराउन मद्दत गराउनेछ । विद्यार्थीलाई कक्षाकोठामा मात्र सीमित नगरी जीवन र जगत्सँग समेत जोड्ने उद्देश्यका साथ विद्यालयले करिब ३ बर्षअघि आइबी मान्यताको लागि प्रकृया अगाडि बढाएको थियो ।
विद्यालयका शैक्षिक निर्देशक सम्पूर्ण देवापातेले परम्परागत शिक्षा अनुरुप आजका विद्यार्थीलाई अध्यापन गराउँदा उनीहरुको भविष्य लुट्दै गइरहेको बताउनुभयो । देवापातेका अनुसार आइबी आफैंमा नेपालको राष्ट्रिय पाठ्यक्रम अनुरुप रहेको छ । ३ देखि १२ वर्ष उमेर समुहका कक्षा नर्सरी देखि पाँच सम्म अध्ययन गर्ने विद्यार्थीलाई सिकाइमा मात्रै केन्द्रित नगरी व्यावहारिक रुपमा समेत अध्ययन तथा खोज गर्न सो शिक्षाले सहयोग गर्ने देवापातेले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।
उहाँले अगाडि भन्नुभयो, “अब स्कुलका हरेक विद्यार्थीले शिक्षा ग्रहण गर्दा घोक्ने मात्रै होइनन् बुझ्ने र अनुसन्धान गर्नेतर्फ ध्यान दिनेछन् । यस मान्यतालाई अघि बढाउदा बालबालिकाहरु व्यवहारीक तथा खोजमुलक शिक्षातर्फ उन्मुख हुनेछन् । आइबी मान्यता प्राप्त शिक्षा ग्रहण गरेसँगै विद्यार्थीले आफूसँगै परिवार त्यसपछि समाज हुँदै राष्ट्र तथा एक दिन विश्व समेत समेटने मानसिकताको विकास गर्नेछन् ।”
शिक्षा पत्रकार सुनिल आचार्यले २१ औं शताब्दीका चुनौतिहरुलाई काँधमा बोकेर हिड्न सक्ने बालबालिकामा क्षमता विकास आइबीले सहयोग हुने बताउनुभयो । विद्यालयकी मानव संसाधन अधिकारी विनिता विष्टले प्रोग्रेसिभ अप्रोच अन्तर्गत बालबालिकामा उनीहरुकै सहभागितामा ज्ञान निर्माण गर्ने कार्य अघि बढाउन विद्यालय लागिपरेको जानकारी दिनुभयो ।
आगामी भाद्र ५ गते शनिवार विद्यालय प्राङ्गणमा माछापुच्छ्रे आईबि वल्ड स्कुल उत्सव तथा अभिनन्दन कार्यक्रम आयोजना गरिएको पत्रकार सम्मेलनमा जानकारी दिइएको थियो ।
